And, as Mark says, a voice of reason needing to be heard.<br /><br />My husband has been working these issues, too, for a long time, and his conclusion is the same as yours. Absent the desire and discipline to right one's own course, everything else is a lot of energy with no place to go.<br /><br />You raise important questions. In the answers to some, if not all, are the answers to preventing homelessness before it starts. It defies easy solution and it starts with a person at a time understanding what it takes and a person at a time needing and wanting enough to make the leap to a different place.<br /><br />The value of what you do in helping people see the possibilities cannot be underestimated. You help make sure the time and space are available.
