Jingle Poetry: Perfect Poet Award!

What a wonderful way to start the New Year! Today, I received an email telling me I have been awarded, The Perfect Poet Award for Week 36 by Jingle at Thursday Poets Rally hosted at Promising poets parking lot. Wow!

Now that's amazing and awesome and wonderful and really cool!

Imagine, me winning a poetry award. Now, I know, I know, it doesn't come with a pot of money or fame and fortune but the recognition for my poetry feels good. In fact, it feels great!

So thank you Jingle for this honour.

For Jingle

Just imagine
an award
from musing words
floating
through thin air
falling
onto a page
to become
a poem
of thanksgiving.

I nominate Victoria Cerretto-Slotto @ live2write2day for week 36 -- her work can be found here: http://liv2write2day.wordpress.com/

  1. lovely acceptance,
well deserved award, you explored the fresh poets to explore, which is very impressive...

This award is given by Jingle from Thursday Poets Rally hosted at Promising poets parking lot,

it has Jingle and Poetry in it, yes, but it is different from Jingle Poetry potluck at Jingle Poetry Blog...

Best wishes for the year of 2011.

  4. I am perfectly jangled,
untangling the rally from the potluck,
the parking lot from the blog,
    But jingled, jangled, jungled
    or just plain ignorwrongled,
    your award is perfectly, perfectedly
    perfect.
