I've been away for a few days. Saturday morning, pain woke me up. A quick ride to the hospital, a diagnosis, and later that day, my gallbladder was removed.

I just got home and will write about my experience tomorrow. But for today, I'm going back to bed!

All is well. I'm healing and my gallbladder won't be bothering me anymore!

See you tomorrow.

Wishing you some gentle healing, Ms. Gallagher. And I'm very glad you're okay...I've been there and done that and got the scars to prove it, too.

I hope you're feeling better and I'll say a prayer for your quick recovery.

Thanks CZ and Tim!

I'm healing. Did a bit too much today in getting ready for Alexis Bon Voyage bash this evening -- I'm tired!

She's off to Australia, New Zealand and Thailand tomorrow for 3 and a half months!!!!!

My plan is to start writing again regularly tomorrow morning.

Thanks for your caring words and prayers.

Love and hugs,

Even though gall bladder surgery is not as traumatic as it used to be, my advice it to 'Take It Easy'. Nice and slow does it, Louise so don't push yourself!

My daughter had gall bladder surgery a couple of months ago and she returned to work a little too early. So be KIND to yourself, okay?!!

HI CZ -- I hear you btw re taking it nice and easy. Today I was absolutely wiped. So... I stayed in bed. That is a tough call for me! But, I chose to give myself healing medicine -- and feel much better for it.

Thanks again for your loving support.

The trip has been GREAT...reconnected wtih old friends, traveled a bit and nurtured my "gypsy spirit"...I had needed a trip after leaving the Drop In, but now am feeling much refreshed and renewed again :)

Let me know if you need anything next week when I get back from my road trip.
