Saturday's Wonder

So, I hopped on over to Jingle Poetry's place this morning and found in the Poem of the Week selection, a great little piece of Chicanery by E. Johnson over at Dandelion Digest. Well, anyone who uses Dandelion in their blog name has to be great, right? So, I hopped on over to E. Johnson's place and found more wonder!

'Cause, from his place I clicked on some of the links on his sidebar and discovered a whole new world of one word prompts and poetry corners I'd never encountered before at Writers Island. It's a clever little place where you are invited to get lost in a Sea of Words where the longitudinal axis of Imagination intersects at the latitude of Creativity. Cast yourself adrift and get all wrapped up in a climate of Warm Words of Wonder.

And that's what's so amazing about this cyberworld -- we truly do get connected to ordinary people being extraordinary.

In her Saturday Finds, Maureen at Writing Without Paper shares a video on contemporary Iranian literature -- and I was humbled by the depth and passion of the writers. She's also got a cool link to some out of this world, literally out of this world, photography.

Glynn at Faith, Fiction, Friends has his Saturday Good Reads list up -- and seriously, what could be better than immersing yourself in the writings and photography and painting of fellow humans inspiring us to live lives of wonder as seen through their words and eyes?

So... all in all, a rich and vibrant Saturday unfolds through art and literature and poetry. Snow is a heavy blanket wrapping the world outside my window in cool and frosty white, while inside, I am embraced by the wonder of those who enter my mind and open my thinking to new dimensions, setting me free to see the world through eyes of wonder.

Have a marvelous day!

Thank you for highlighting Saturday Sharing, and for providing your own list of wonders to share.

We're very cold here, too, but no snow (I say with many thanks). Keep warm!

Isn't it true? A few clicks, and we are lost in another world--where sometimes we find a piece of ourselves.

Stay warm.

Delighted to meet you. Hope you don't mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you. No worries, if I make a mess I'll make sure to clean up.
